The [Drive Bay Adapter V4 (3.5" to 2x2.5")](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2456254) by [TheGoatPuncher](https://www.thingiverse.com/TheGoatPuncher) is exactly what I was looking for. I just wanted a version with less plastic, mainly to reduce the print time, but also because it might improve cooling. OpenSCAD did not like the original STL file [ERROR: CGAL error in CGAL_Nef_polyhedron3(): CGAL ERROR: assertion violation!] so I ran it through the Netfabb online service. I you want to print my version you only need **tv-2456254_DriveBayAdapter.3.5.V4_mod.stl**. If you want to perform additional changes, you can get **tv-2456254_DriveBayAdapter.3.5.V4_fixed.stl** (the STL from TheGoatPuncher post-processed by Netfabb) and **tv-2456254_DriveBayAdapter.3.5.V4_mod.scad** (the OpenSCAD file). Update 2018-07: I've added a new revision (**tv-2456254_DriveBayAdapter.3.5.V4_mod_new.stl**) which adds holes so that the two drives can be put further apart.
