I really liked this basic design but wanted to be able to print it in two parts, needed to hollow out the base, and insert holes for aligning the parts. I used Blender to make the changes. The holes are designed to accept a small piece of 1/4 inch dowel. I intentionally made it a tight fit that may require a little sanding of the dowel. Also, DO NOT USE TOO MUCH INFILL! It will make the star top heavy. 5-8% is more than adequate. No supports are needed. Print flat side down in case it is not obvious. It is sized to 150mm across (roughly 6 inches). Keep in mind resizing will also impact the size of the dowel holes.
