Remote Caddy

Remote Caddy

This was something I custom designed for myself and is pretty unique to my remote control collection. But when the Remote Holder contest opened I figured it couldn't hurt to enter!

The remotes that fit this holder are for a Samsung TV, Amazon Fire Stick and Yamaha sound bar. I spent most of my time tuning the fit of the remotes so that it was snug but still easy to insert and remove them.

In the bottom of the caddy there are pockets for six 608 bearings for some added weight to keep the caddy stable and prevent it from getting knocked over. You will need to do a pause at the top of the pocket so you can insert the bearings.

Optional: I added some rubber feet to the bottom to help keep it from sliding as well. Something like this would work: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DU0O00W I use them in many of my 3DP projects and they're great for cabinet doors to keep them from slamming.
