Remote Holder for Couch or Chair Arm

Remote Holder for Couch or Chair Arm

This is a holder for up to 3 remote controls & can be hooked over the arm of a chair or couch. I designed it for a square-top arm of 6.5 inch (165mm) width. It prints in 4 pieces: the arm hook, remote pocket, & 2 retaining pins. I use it to hold a universal cable-box remote, dedicated TV remote, & room thermostat remote.

Print instructions

This works best in PETG. If you use PLA or material with similar stiffness, you may need to thin the 2 halves of the split pins in order to assemble. I used "0.2 mm QUALITY" prInt setting in Prusa Slicer. I designed it to print without supports, but there is some overhang & bridging in the "Pocket" component. Mine printed fine without but YMMV.

Sorry I only have renders & not photos of this final version. My i3 MK3s is fully busy printing face-shield parts.

Individual part images show the orientation for printing. The assembly image shows the final orientation.
