Budget Upgrade for Replicator 1 and Clones Using Glass Build Surface. For a budget-friendly upgrade, you can easily find an 8"x10" glass plate at any hardware store like Home Depot for approximately two dollars. This glass build surface mounts directly above the heated bed and is removable for convenient access. The glass plate slides smoothly into the back mounting points and is securely fastened by locking pins on both front mounts. The mounts are firmly attached to the corners of the HBP using pre-existing, stock screws. To complete this upgrade, you will need: A high-quality 8'x10' glass plate Two M4 30mm screws Two M4 Wing Nuts A 3mm Z end stop (recommended) thing:2767970 The black tape visible in the images serves as vibration damping padding.
