A friend of mine needed a replacement window crank for his miata. I whipped this part up for him. It features rounded edges, and some basic curving splines. This crank should work for most cars that use a manual window crank. I needed to shorten this part a bit as compared to the original to accommodate the size of the makerbot. It's quite easy to scale the handle of the part larger in solidworks. Instructions 1: Print the part 2: get a replacement clip from any car parts store. 3: install the part 4: profit? In this design, there is a part called "testpart". It is a block with the window crank gear inside of it that I made as a testpart before designing the whole part. I wanted to ensure that the makerbot could make the teeth to move the window well.
