<p>An overengineered replacement for the easily broken handle on many Whirlpool and Maytag dryers (https://www.whirlpoolparts.com/PartDetail/Door-Handle/W10861225/4380739). &nbsp;</p><p>PETG is recommended. &nbsp;Supports are not needed. &nbsp;</p><p>You will also need five No6 x ½ inch sheet metal screws or equivalent. &nbsp;</p><p>Assembly steps:</p><p>Remove and disassemble the dryer door. &nbsp;The dryer door consists of an inner stamped steel panel and an outer stamped steel panel held together by screws along the edge. &nbsp;</p><p>Press fit the backing plate to the interior of the outer door panel. &nbsp;</p><p>Attach the door handle using six No6 x ½inch sheet metal screws (or equivalent). &nbsp;</p><p>Reassemble and attach the door.&nbsp;</p><p>PS my wife tells me that this is by far the best thing I've printed. &nbsp;She thinks it looks better than the original. &nbsp;</p>
