This thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4446456 is the best miniature holder that I've found, but I've found that the central gear is too dependant on sanding when printed, when it can be printed fully functional out of the box. And for thet, I've removed the external "support" part (i've printed this item from the gear up) and reduced the width of the tube by 0.1mm. With this, it just fits in the cone. So I'm going to paint some minis now :D
