Tips include printing multiple at once to have spares, orienting the part on its side to minimize support material, and using ABS for flexibility. After cleaning up the print, insert it into the hole and turn with a screwdriver until it engages, being careful not to over-turn like the original cam. This 3D printed version is functionally the same as the original but has been modified for better strength and 3D printing adaptability.
