Replacement Pad, for (Eye-) Glasses, Repl-Pad

<p><strong>This is my 3rd and newest revision of my Replacement Pad.</strong></p><p>Instead of having to buy new glasses straight away, I was able to continue wearing my old ones for almost a year despite the broken nose piece/pad arm. small piece of metal wich holding the nose pad broke and turns out to be unrepearable.</p><p>Without the money to spontaneously buy new glasses, I decided to help myself with my 3D printer. This tiny piece of TPU saved me round 300€ and is the perfect example for a Piece of tech, not to buy anywhere but exactly what i needed.</p><p>I´m sure there are more like me,not able or willing to buy spantangeously new glasses, while the old ones are nearly perfectly fine.</p><p>If on your Glasses the other side is broken, just mirror the Part in PrusaSlicer.</p><p>There is a groove to fit it in under the bridge and a small detent for better friction which printed fine for me with no supports.</p><p>I Printed this one in 3D Warhorse TPU Red, back then in Cura on my Anycubic i3MegaS. Of course you can use a not so vibrant color, it´s your Style &nbsp;;) (Belive it or not, no one ever noticed the part when im not asking fo4r it).</p><p>It´s a while back but i here my Old Slicer Settings with suggtestions for Prusa Slicer.</p><p><strong>Printer: Anycubic i3MegaS, Mega X Carriage Mod and Sunon Part-Cooling Fan</strong></p><p><strong>Nozzle: 0.4</strong></p><p><strong>Layer Height: 0.12&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Nozzle Temp: 210°C</strong></p><p><strong>Bed Temp: 60°C (Anycubic Ultrabase, on my new rough PE Flexplate 50°C is just fine)</strong></p><p><strong>Supports: no</strong></p><p><strong>Speed: 25ms</strong></p><p><strong>Speed, first Layer 15ms</strong></p><p><strong>Cooling: 70%, none on first Layer</strong></p><p>If theres a “sharp” notch at your first layer, try the Elephantsfoot compensation, since it is realy annoying on your nose.</p><p>Reminder: this one is designed for my personal pair of glasses and may not fit yours without adjusting. Try to Print it bigger or smaller, however you need, but think of the groove wich might get to big or small and then doens´t fit well.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This is my first Post on Printables and i hope you like my work and it may be helpful for once or or the other, even if its a kind of "special need produkt".
