Replacement parts for Hobbyking Slow Stick

The Hobbyking Slow Stick is a really fun plane to fly. After a few crashes more than a few pieces needed replacement, so I started to design my own. All the pieces are designed to use M3 screws and nuts instead of glue to fix them, so it's easier to replace them. You will need to make M3 holes in the carbon fiber spar. Everything is designed to be printed without supports if you orient it properly. List of parts ========= ###Motor mount I's more brittle than the original, if you crash nose first it's surely going to snap, but it's cheap and I think it works well. it includes holes for ventilation and 5º angle down and to the right to account for torque. The friction between PLA and metal from the screws is quite low (they are slippery), I strongly recommend to use some threadlocker Print it with the motor touching surface down, so it rests on it. **NOTE: because of the angle and how I designed this you can't use the original screws to fix the motor.** ### Union Not sure how to call this piece, is the one that joins the two carbon fiber spars. This one works quite well. ### Servo wire guide and back landing gear This part works pretty well. Probably some grease will help with the displacement of the servo wires. The landing gear it's wide but strong. Maybe it would be better to redesign using some kind of spar/rod. ### Battery holders I don't like these, I don't recomend using them. I'm open for ideas for a better design ### Wing adapters Some time ago I removed the dihedral angle from my plane, that's whe these adapters are for horizontal wings. They use the same angle of attack from the original pieces (more or less). The wing adapter includes a hole to use the original Slow Stick landing gear (made from wire). I broke mine long time ago, that is why I use the landing gear included here. ### Front landing gear This is bulky and snaps easily, it's probably better to redesing it using some other material instead of PLA, or use some kind of aluminum/carbon fiber rod.
