Lost the pin for holding the clamp with one of my classroom set of clamps. Replicated it to the closest thousandth of an inch with dial calipers; however, PLA is less bendy than the plastic my clamps are made of and thus the pin did not work very well - it was too tight. This version works much better. I think it might be better than the original pin in both its hold and its allowing sliding when not holding. The thumb "handle" has a greater surface area as well to aid in use.
