This beautiful antique cast iron tape dispenser found in a thrift store was sadly waiting unused in a corner, because it was missing its roller element. Modern-day standard rollers are smaller and therefore did not fit in the slot. 3D printing always has a solution! Made by Alessandro @ Fab Lab Zurich Instructions Nothing special… The calculated support would have created far too much chaos, though, so I made a customized support made of small pillars. They are very easy to break away after printing and leave a very clean area. During printing of the parallel barrel, you can increase print speed up to 220 % for time convenience. Don’t forget to set down again when you reach the thin part!
