Replacement Roomba Tires

Replacement tires for roomba model 880. They may fit other models but have not been tested. I printed these with NiNjaTek TPU (Shore Hardness = 85A). My original roomba tire tread was worn down to the plastic rims after years of use. The robot was slipping on the hardwood floors and could not cross over the thresholds between rooms. I could not find replacement tires on the internet. I was able to find complete wheel assemblies for $30 us dollars each. A roll of TPU is about $25 so here we are. To install the new tires you will first need to remove each wheel assembly. On model 880 this is done by... 1) Flip the robot onto it's back. 2) Remove the two screws holding the battery cover on. 3) Remove the battery. 4) Remove the spinning brush by removing the flathead screw. 5) Remove the large bottom cover by removing 1 screw behind each wheel. 6) Each wheel assembly can now be removed. Remove 3 screws on both sides. Lift straight up. 7) Carefully remove the original tire. I used my pocket knife to cut it off. 8) Slip the 3D printed tire onto the wheel then reassemble in the reverse order. 9) Enjoy!
