Updated 02-14-2017: Replaced damaged STL file This is a modification of my clips to hold an inexpensive 11" x 8.5" glass plate to the heated bed of a Replicator 2X -> http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1908836 These clips are designed to hold a 200mm x 300mm x 3mm borosilicate glass plate to the heated build plate of the Makerbot Replicator 2X. Demo Video: https://youtu.be/LAVd1VNNC0Y Using a glass plate from an inexpensive document frame worked well. But I find that after a particularly busy printing schedule, the untempered glass often cracks from the repeated heating and cooling. This was not totally unexpected. I found an inexpensive borosilicate glass plates on Amazon, that was perfect for my needs. (Link and search terms in comments) The 300mm length allowed these clips to be designed so that they hold the plate firmly, while remaining completely outside the print area. Like my earlier clips, these utilize the groove on the underside of the Replicator 2X's build plate to keep them in place. You may need to adjust the size of the clips to fit your own borosilicate glass plate, so I have included the FreeCAD file.
