I was looking to upgrade my injection-molded ABS Y stepper bracket with a more heat-resistant material, so I designed this polycarbonate version. No complex features were involved. This design is slightly thinner than the stock component, leaving space for the installation of a cork gasket or stepper damper if desired. To get started, ensure that you print the bracket using ABS, PC-ABS, or PC. Printing it with PLA should be avoided due to high temperatures involved in operation.
