Replicator front and side panels
thingiverse
Easily swap sides and front on your Makerbot Replicator with these DIY Lexan panels, measuring approximately 0.210-0.215 inches thick, featuring dimensions of 8 13/16" x 8 3/8" for the sides and 15" x 8 3/8" for the front panel. Each panel has 1 1/4" x 45 degree chamfers on top corners. Print six bottom clips, one front panel knob, and two rotating clips from this Thingiverse link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:34825. Assemble the side panels with two bottom clips each and a rotating clip at the top; the front panel, frequently removed, requires the front panel knob. Secure bottom clips using #6-32 machine screws, while a #8-32 or #10 screw works for the knob. Install a flat head machine screw on the edge of the opening and glue a rare earth magnet from Harbor Freight (http://www.harborfreight.com/10-piece-rare-earth-magnets-67488.html) in place using epoxy for the front panel knob.
