RepRap Filament Spool Holder (side mount)

I use this filament spool holder with my Mendel RepRap. It is 3 parts. Parts 1 and 2 I would print at at least 50% fill, but part 3 (the bearing part) can be printed at 10-20% fill. I printed this in PLA at 215C hot end, 60C heated bed, held with 2 M8 threaded rods and 10 M8 nuts, the clamp (part 1) needs 2 M3 bolts and nuts which must be hand tightened. Note that the inside diameter (ID) of part 3 may vary depending on the ID of the filament spool. I have included a part3 with ID of 58.5mm, 57mm (56.75mm), and 50mm. I have provided the blender files so you can adjust the internal cylinder size to the diameter you need if different from 50, 57 or 59mm. Instructions First clamp part 1 to the front side bar of the RepRap using 2 M3 bolts and nuts (hand tightened). Then put a ~50cm M8 threaded rod (rod 1) through part 1. Add a M8 nut on both side of part 1. Add another M8 bolt on rod 1, and put part 2 on the rod, followed by another M8 bolt. Put a second ~50cm M8 threaded rod (rod 2) through part 2. Secure the second rod by putting a M8 nut on both sides of part 2. Add another M8 nut on rod 2 about 2-3cm away from part2. Use a vice to add 1 M8 bearing on each of 2 copies of part 3. Slide the first copy of part 3 (with the rim and bearing side facing outside) onto rod 2. Slide the filament spool onto the second rod. Add the second copy of part 3 onto rod 2 so it slides into the filament spool. Finally, add 1 last M8 nut to rod 2 to tighten the second copy of part 3 onto the filament spool.
