This is my huxlyified version of geoffd123's pen holder. The changes I made were to move the mounting points to the correct places for he huxleys x-carriage, change the elastic band fittings to a simple hook rather than a 3mm bolt and change the design to use square nuts (I find these behave better than the regular ones when trapped inside the part). Instructions Tweak SCAD to suit the pens you plan to use, and print. assemble top and bottom parts with two 3mm machine screws and nuts add elastic band add 2 macine screws and nuts to the mounting holes on the top part as they are on the print head. remove the printhead and replace it with the new pen holder start plotting! Things to be aware of... The diameter I selected turned out to be too narrow. This was fixed with a 10mm drill. The support structures I print to support the hooks are way too fragile and one of htem colapsed mid-way through printing. Amazingly it still worked, but you might want to re-think the support before printing your own. The pen is not quite in the same place as the print nozzel so you loose about 20mm in the y axis.Required Parts PartQtyElastics Bands 2 M3 20mm Bolts 4 M3 Washers 4 M3 Nuts 4
