Initially developed as low cost evolution of the straight wings Thunderjet, so it maintained the name F-84, at the end it was a totally new aircraft. With swept wings, the performance gain compared to the Thunderjet was little more than satisfactory, however production began in 1950 but a series of problems delayed the introduction into service until 1954. Retired from USAF active service in 1964 it remained with the ANG till the 1972. It has been in service with the most of the NATO countries and also by Taiwan's RCAF. The F-84F was armed with 6 M3 cal.12.7 and up to 2.700 kg. of rockets and conventional bombs or a single Mark 7 nuclear bomb. Models 1:100 scale but printed at 1:285 with 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12mm layers. In the image from cura display the position i tried. 16 sept. 2019: found errors ; made corrections. ciao Erik
