Respirator Honeywell 7700 series exhalation HEPA filter

Exhalation filter designed to directly attach the exhalation port on the Honewell 7700 series respirator. I designed this to be used in the healthcare setting as healthcare workers using half-mask respirators. This will help trap any particulate exhaled by the wearer and protecting the environment both in and outside a patient's room. This will also cut down on contamination during culture draws due to the focused direction of the exhalation port. I designed it to be assembled without any additional materials. Should have a tight snap-fit to the mask once you remove the original exhalation valve cover. Will only need a good low resistance filter substrate. Viral filters used in the pulmonary function labs had the best results with the lowest resistance but may be difficult to extract.
