The most common anatomical example is the reticular formation in the brain, one of the oldest parts of the brain that plays a crucial role in consciousness. When designing these pieces, I imagined what it would be like to inhabit and move around inside of these shapes. To add a dash of function, the forms have a hole at the top that can be used to hold your favourite organic plant material. The 26mm diameter hole will also hold a 1” test tube or similar container for water.
