Mobile phone holder for car whit spring retract system! ( This is a good concept, can be refined and made much more better! ) Smart phone is placed into the hook retract system easy and it stays in place whit own weight of the phone, when its lifted the retract system opens up for easy phone removal from the mount. It can be placed in car vents whit the 3 cm wide very strong clip. use pen spring for retraction system, strength of retraction depends on lenght of the spring so shorten it if its to strong! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3Kv712EHzc Print material: ABS Printed parts layer height 0.1 Infill 100 % or 40 % its up to you. Use stift to combine attach stift holders whit left and right hook and main hook, just hammer it in and when is greased and screwed together whit main body u need to run up and down couple of times so it will diminish hick ups or u can sand paper the parts before assembly. Parts printed whit support touching build plate: Clip and Main hook, other parts don't need support, use brim or skirt. Ball mount already has built in mesh mixer supports for the nut in the middle so u have to remove supports to get the nut loose. Grease parts for better movement,stift holders, inner circle body system including hole where spring is. Place a small cutted pieces of rubber band inside Thread piece if the ball mount is to easily moved around. Tested on Samsung galaxy s9 plus whit gel case. Smallest smart phone can be attached 6.5 cm and biggest 9.5 cm wideness . Max depth is 1.4 cm or u can modify the hooks for more wideness, depth ! Cheers!
