Retro Rocket
thingiverse
Using Tinkercad, I designed a rocket model and divided it into two sections to fit my Printrbot Simple's small build area. To assemble the larger rocket, I initially planned to use threaded connectors but had to switch to a pin system suggested by a Thingiverse user due to calibration issues with my printer. The printing process faced multiple challenges; the side rocket fin pieces snapped off during print or after, requiring four attempts to fix. Despite the trials and errors, I'm pleased with the final model printed on Printrbot Simple using 1.75 MM PLA filament from Matterhackers at 205 temperature with 50% infill.
