Retroflag GPi LiPo back

Retroflag GPi LiPo back

I created this backplate as I had lost my USB to micro pin power adaptor thing. I have an abundance of LiPo batteries due to various projects laying around. I found that the LiPo I have used in the GameBoyNull kit fits 'just' in the back of the GPi. But, it needed some extra depth to allow the charger circuit. I decided to make it in this manner, as I wanted to be able to quickly replace the exhausted LiPo with AA batteries if you were travelling and not near USB for some bizarre reason. I borrowed some designs to get this together. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1872669 - Dummy AA batteries. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:104919 - DMG GameBoy battery cover. The AA dummy battery, I should have really sliced it in software to be 1/2 thick, as after printing out two found it was too thick to incorporate my LiPo. So, I cut one down in half from tip to base (lengthways), and put the Positive lead on one half, then the negative lead in the other half. This gives me great pressure on the internal battery mounts for the new Lithium battery. The DMG battery cover, I resized and then moved the two tabs slightly to make it fit the GPi. Then I had to make it deeper. All this was achieved in Tinkercad, hence the terrily square corners. If I could use Fusion, I guess it would be nicer. Sorry. The charger is just a cheap HW-107 single BMS with USB Micro charging. Use whaterver you can fit.
