Reuse Your Old Spools as Christmas Light Organizers

Reuse Your Old Spools as Christmas Light Organizers

thingiverse

This is a quick remix of Madox's Filament Clip (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:12516) and Shermluge's Christmas Light holder for rain gutters (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3204558). There are two clips, each is used to hold one end of the lights to the spool so the lights can be easily coiled onto the spools and then secured. Not much to this, and aside from being a way to get rid of some spool holders, it is also a good use for old filament that may not print so pretty, or scraps and leftovers that can still do the job. The holes in the clips are there in case you want to secure them in place with some twist ties, through the holes sometimes placed around the edges of spools. I found they held well enough to not need the additional security of twist ties though.
