REV 12v Battery Spacer for REV Expansion Hub

REV 12v Battery Spacer for REV Expansion Hub

thingiverse

Our robotics team has two REV Expansion Hubs mounted vertically in parallel along the robot's central axis, mounted to two 15mm REV extrusions. This leaves a 30mm space between the hubs, which is just the right size for our REV 12v battery. The battery has to be mounted on its short end to fit, so it ends up being taller than the expansion hubs. This also leaves some space at both ends of the expansion hub. To keep the battery to sliding around, we have designed a spacer with screw holes on both sides to connect to the expansion hubs. The spacer is just the right size to keep everything from moving around. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/5EBOnIdUuH5
