Reve-D RDX Center Stiffening Plate

Reve-D RDX Center Stiffening Plate

I wanted to make something to fill the gap in the center of the RDX chassis, but I also noticed some flex in between the trusses, so I designed these plates to be direct bolt in for the stock RDX chassis plate. I have NO idea if it will actually effect performance, probably not, but I think it looks cool and wanted to share it with the world. Use it to add style to your chassis, hide gyros or wiring, or use it to hold your electronics (maybe even some seats and a driver?) Whatever it is, Enjoy the hobby and keep drifting fun! You have to run horizontal shorty and forward servo for this to fit. Print with 3 top layers, 3 lower layers, 4 walls, and 25% infill. Or play with settings to find what you like. You can run either one plate (either one) or both for maximum stiffness. The "Midplate" fits between the trusses and is 5.5mm thick, the "top plate" links the 4 trusses together and is 2.5mm thick. If you are using both plates, use m3x12 or m3x14 screws to attach to chassis, m3x8 countersunk screws to attach the top plate to the midplate. I provided a blank version and a Reve-D logo version for those who want to put their own logo on it! Enjoy!
