Most of these same boxes are also confusing for many people; an addition of a timer, such as a cellphone, is needed for accurately timing medicine consumption. Introducing the Revolving Pill Cube, an easily portable storage container for your medicine. The cube fits within a 4.5 x 4.5 x 4.625 inch space, allowing your counters to be able to house more items. The outside frame can serve as minimalistic decor while housing your necessary medicine for the week. The bottom of the frame can be fitted with a small circuit board that is connected to a display and a buzzer; this can serve as a timing device for taking medicine. Of course, with only 3D printing resources, electronics have not been modeled in the Revolving Pill Cube.The revolving part is shaped like an hourglass for aesthetic purposes. It houses your pills and is split into seven compartments. Each compartment is fitted with a ledge to prevent pills from falling out. The top section of the hourglass-shaped part has extrusions so that labels can be placed on the part (i.e. Monday, Tuesday, etc.). Two models of screws have been created so that the revolving section can be held in the middle of the frame. Both screws have a extrusion in the top that is compatible with a screwdriver, and the length has been threaded with the Thread feature.If desired, the Revolving Pill Cube can hold office supplies such as erasers, pins, and paper clips as well, and the display on the side can be programmed to your liking.3D Modeling Software: Autodesk Inventor 2019Features Used: Extrude, Hole, Loft, Thread, Chamfer, MirrorDimensions: 4.5 x 4.5 x 4.625 inches*The build has not been tested (printed out). However, according to the application 3D Print, the design is able to be printed out without complications. The design has not been printed out, however. Any material should be able to be used, although plastic (PLA or ABS) is expected to be the optimal choice in terms of speed and material cost.
