RFID Badge Holder

RFID Badge Holder

thingiverse

This is a remix of jrebeiro's ID card holder, sized for one regular card and one thicker RFID card. In my case the cards already had a hole through the top so having one on the holder was redundant. I pulled it into Tinkercad and made short work it. While I was doing that I angled the channels so the cards can slide in easier. Then brought it into Meshmixer to round off the corners and smooth the sharp edges. I cut off the metal clip from my lanyard, and reattached the ends with some super glue. I flipped it over so the card slides in on the back to give the front side a finished look, all the way around. How I Designed This Pictured here left to right is: First iteration - customizer wasnt working for me so i brought it into Tinkercad and sized it manually. Angled inner channels. Second iteration - that was pretty good but it had too many sharp edges for comfort. brought it into Meshmixer and smoothed it off Third iteration - chopped off the top and smoothed it out again
