This is an "energy saving lamp" model with double sided RGB - LED - Stripes inside. I used 2 x 1.5m LED strips, which are glued together in the middle to emit light in a direction of 360 °. This is a normal LED - Stripe - without the rubber covering - you can buy everywhere on the internet. Make sure to get a high quality one, because i had the problem, that 2 of the 3 used emitted to much heat and deformed the pla - print. I used 60 LEDs / m which is also be a reason, but not the reason why this happened. There are 3 openings, which will help you to get the stripe through the print. Start on the side where the first curve is closest. To help getting the stripe where it is supposed to go, i tied a piece of string to a drillbit and the stripe. Once you reach the frist opening you can pull with the string and push by hand. I didn't have problems getting the stripe through and also they don't get dammaged by it, if they are good quality. 2 of the 3 stripes failed partially because the resistors used infront of the red - LED broke off (this happened only to this resistor and also only a few times, so most likely a production problem). The stripes themselves are mostly very robust. The Lamp can be printed laying on its side with a slide angle, and support from the build plate (and only here!) enabled.
