Y-Carriage designed for my HICTop Prusa Mendel I3. This carriage fits a 272mm x 220mm heat bed. I made this carriage because my old one kept rattling, this one does't rattle at all! The real key was a simple little thing: You know the three bolts with springs on them that connect your heatbed to your carriage? Each of those bolts must be secured to the carriage at two points or they will shake. In the final embodiment of this carriage I ended up flipping the bolts upside down such that I put the level-adjustment wingnuts on top of my heatbed. So, each bolt is clamped to the carriage with two regular nuts and then the spring tension is adjusted with the wingnuts on top, the bolts never move! The parts in the .SKP file will export manifold. I used 3mm Esun PETG and a 0.6mm nozzle for this print with an XY compensation of -0.2mm.
