This is a model of a Rickenbacker 4005 Semi-Hollow-Body Bass done in AutoCAD 2008. I actually used to own one of these... S/N 021! Stereo output. It was a real beauty and rare! But a bit scary to own...It was like a piece of fine antique furniture. I always feared that I'd get scratches, nicks, etc. Not like my Fender Jazz Bass which I never worry about. This bass actually had two truss rods... and they were removable! So if you had a slight buzz anywhere, you could pull either one out, add a slight bend either way to make corrections, and replace it. Tweak it to a good tension and you had action to die for. The sound was a bit thin for my style, but great for working on acoustic type songs.
