Since getting my Ricoh GR III camera, I immediately thought of customizing it with with a colored ring. I've also heard of many people losing the original ring and then having to buy overpriced replacement ones. So, 3D-printing one was quite an obvious choice. Imagine my surprise when I found no STL files anywhere on the internet, so I thought I'd design one and share it with the world! The ring is quick and very easy to print. No special preparation required. Just slice and print flat on bed. Don't forget to have fun experimenting with colors! Some notes: 1. There are two versions of the ring with the only difference being the thickness. It is mostly due to plastic not being as rigid as metal (at least PLA which I used), so you might like a sturdier and thicker version. Thinner one is more elegant and is closed to the original in its design. 2. Please mind the orientation when mounting the ring. If it doesn't seem to fit right, just try rotating it around a bit. The ring should fit snuggly, and though there is no "click" (hard to implement in plastic) the friction keeps the ring in place well. 3. Special thanks to [franco malatacca] and their filter mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4553264 I used it as a reference for the bayonet design when designing this ring.
