I wanted a low profile adapter to fit inside of a schedule 40 y pipe that I could use as a press fit for my RIDGID shop vac hose. This ring is 2.300 ID and 2.395" OD. that being said I included a solidworks file if you need to make adjustments for your specific hose. I'm not sure how stringent the Q.C. is for these couplers but I know this fits mine no problems. You may also is use a dremel to create a notch for the "Tug Along Hose" to lock into the schedule 40 fitting and you'll have an incredibly sturdy adapter.
