This is a front sight pusher for use with dovetailed sights on traditional rifle barrels. It has been successfully printed in PLA and used on a .22 LR barrel. Other than the printed parts, this tool does require a 1/4"-20 bolt and nut to operate. The nut is captured in a cavity within the body of the tool. A conventional hex head bolt may be used, but a wing nut at one end negates the need for a wrench to operate the tool. Comparable commercial offerings out on the market are made of aluminum and cost $80 or more! This 3-D printed option does the job at a small fraction of the cost.
