Yes, all these tiles STILL printed on a single extrusion printer! The PDF to view all the tiles is found in the files section called MasterTiles2020.pdf Updated April 2020, Added Prelude 2020 Lava Tube V2 so you can see the city inside if you like. Updated March 2020, Added Artificial Lake Ocean Tile, Added Cupola split tile into CupolaDome and CupolaBase to print in separate colors if you like. Added a Non MMU Capital base to be able to print Base and Dome separate. Thanks to gr33n_fr0g for great tile tray here: (be sure and check out his 3D Mars Board!) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4248307 Go way down this page to the Printing instructions if you want the layer height changes. So what’s new for January 2020!.... Added Split 2-part Capital Feb 2020 for MMU Only, will not work to print in 2 parts and assemble. All the city tiles have new base logos and clearer text as well as new city logos on the cube placement area. All the brown based tiles have their respective emblems in the cube placement area, all the expansion tiles have their respective emblems on the cube placement areas. -all the pictures are of ONLY the 2020 tiles posted now but all the older tiles have remained in this post, also ALL the expansions are posted here. Nothing is painted. -If you want the same set as the pictures print ONLY the 2020 tiles. -the “new” or altered tiles are Lave Flows, Corporate Stronghold, Urbanized area, Open City, Plantation, Experimental Forest, 2 alternate Tree Tiles (4 Total now), Phobos Space Haven, Ganymede Colony and a new V2 version of the Generic City Tile. -all the 2020 tiles are still printed on a single extruder printer, all the 2020 Tiles were printed with a .25mm nozzle for the best detail showing, your results may vary with a larger nozzle. No supports are needed for anything, but Stratopolis is split in two and glued and then the ship can be placed into the base for removel to store. -I used over 20 different rolls of filament color,(yes, it costs me a small fortune!), all the “city” tiles are “metallic” in color (with the exception of Commercial District that is Gold), all the expansions have their own “metallic” color to distinguish them from each other. Note that Phobus Space Haven, Ganymede, Luna Metropolis, Dawn City, Stratopolis, and Maxwell Base are printed WITHOUT any red/brown base filament as all these tiles are not “Martian” and take place on moons and other planets. -Stratopolis and Stanford Torus are printed in two parts and can be glued rather than printing with supports, a 2 piece Protected Valley is also listed in the files section but I suggest you print the dam part at 98% or so or you can trim a bit to fit..and also added is a new Cultural Metropolis AUSSIE edition -while I am a bit of a perfectionist, undoubtedly I missed some details here so if you encounter something please let me know… Have fun! NOTE: If you have trouble printing some of the more difficult tiles like Cupola or the Capital, or even the storage trays... slow down your print, I don't mean 5 or 10%.. I mean to something like 30 to 40% of total speed from the printer menu... it is bothersome because it takes so long, but I have never had a failed print this way... Jan 2020 All NEW Tiles! Sept 2019 ...added a V2 of NuclearZone with cube placement on the base rather than top and a V2 of LavaDome with a better cube holder on top. Sep 2019... added a new three piece Stratopolis tile, can ship can be printed and glued then placed into the "socket" for it on the tile..much easier than cleaning off all the supports that were needed before... Aug 2019: Added a new V3 for Cupola City with perhaps a stronger top for printing, and then split the dome from the base for Cupola and the Capital if you wanted to print these parts separately...some trimming will be required to refit together. May 2019: Added TMTMCulturalMet.stl the Cultural Metropolis Tile for the upcoming Turmoil expansion as well as a V2 of Cupola City MSCTCupolaCityNEWV2WWordsSTRONGERNewTop2019.stl and a new PDF of the full tile list. NOTE: As of Feb 13th 2019... All these tiles have been updated to the 2019 tiles...The old tiles have been removed. The Photos will be updated at a future date...They have minor adjustments (like terrain changes to Ecological and Lava flows) and improve printing and a slightly bolder font for the words and have revised bottom layers with labels for the 11 Special city tiles, the Capital and all the expansions. . As of today the photos of the base of the tile do not reflect the new design, when I have photos I will post and amend this write up. Added April 2019 Tile Legend: TM -Terraforming Mars base tiles TMB -Terraforming Mars Bonus Tile TMST -Terraforming Mars Special Tile TMSC -Terraforming Mars Special City TMP -Terraforming Mars Prelude TMC -Terraforming Mars Colonies TMVN -Terraforming Mars Venus Next TMTM -Terraforming Mars Turmoil Haudi has kindly posted a set of tiles for Terraforming Mars: Pathfinders fan-expansion tiles for fans of the game that fit well with the sets here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3836865 See the full printing instructions in the notes way down below: All the tiles from the base set as well as the expansions and bonus tiles can be found in this posts download as of January2020, If you print everything it is 91 tiles total with multiple copies of cities, trees and oceans. Here is my take on Terraforming Mars tiles. Printed on a single extrusion printer, done with multiple layer changes for each tile in many different colors of PLA. The only thing I had to paint was the silver on Noctis City, and Ganymede, and I highlighted the Nuclear and Lava tiles. It has the "cheater" inlay method of a quick color change after the first layer to get a nice inlay. Thanks for some files that I got the design from, special shout out to Igotron for the Nuke cloud design and Ferjerez for your skyscraper generator. Master Tile PDF is in the files for you to print for your reference. If you 3D print this please post some "likes" and makes, and if you really like it although not at all required, a tip would be nice to help with my filament costs, I go through a ton test printing everything to get it right. Non Commercial means print away for your own or your friends use but don't be posting for sale on the internet, Thanks. Check out my other posts too! I posted RifRaf Colonies Trade Fleet Ship here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3285464 I posted RifRaf Pass markers here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3285484 I Posted RifRaf Tile Storage trays here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3285498 You can make as many tiles as you want here's what I made that seems to work: RifRaf TM tiles: -30 Trees -3 Bonus Green (Planation, Protected, Mangrove) -16 Generic Cities -11 Special Brown Cars (includes Capital) -11 Card Cities -9 Ocean tiles -5 Venus Next Tiles -1 Colonies Tile -4 Prelude Tiles -3 Turmoil Tiles 93 Total RifRaf TM FULL Tile SET One issue that popped up...the tiles are made to be less than a half mm larger than the actual game tiles, I think .4 to .44mm large on the flats... the reason being you are very likely to butt these tiles up close to one another and if they were the actual size you will end up with a gap at the end of the row on the game board... there has been some variation in prints but most I have seen the original tiles are meant to fit INSIDE the white border lines on the board... these are not... these are made to cover all the board including the white lines when played...an issue you may have is if your printer prints any type of "elephant" foot or any artifacts that are not trimmed..then by the end of a row they may stick out slightly … there is not much tolerance here and it could be to avoid any issues.. you could leave your tiles a bit loose on the board then you could print at perhaps a 98% scale...what ever works best for you.. I have printed all these at 100% and like the white lines not showing as much as possible after playing a tile and at the end of a game..
