Rigging Pins

Rigging Pins

These are the Aileron Rigging Pins for Piper PA28 and alike small AIrcraft, taken from a PA28-180 AMM section 5. I made them .063 thicker ( 1/16") for a bit of added strength,in a dimension that does not have bearing on the fit of the pins into the airframe. These rig pins can be field fabricated if need be as per the AMM. They MUST be printed to exact measurements, and must be verified with a calibrated measureing tool ( Micrometer, Vernier Caliper Ect ). You MUST be a licenced aircraft mechanic or have direct supervision from one in order to use this tooling. Also you MUST follow the Aircraft Maintenance Manual ( AMM ) procedure in order to maintain airworthiness of the aircraft. I am not libal for anyone useing this tooling in any way. I am simply putting the AMM info in a 3d printed enviroment for other mechanics to use. Aircraft Maintenance is serious and failure to follow the published maintenance procedures can result in serious losses and/or death.
