** REQUIRES SOLDERING ** This is a temporary fix I designed for my Arctis Pros as Steelseries refused to sell me spare parts or offer a repair service (I told them I was happy to pay!!). Their slimy policy on repairs meant that I gave this a go. This is a fix for the right earcup which had broken where the headband stem (for lack of the proper term) attaches into the earcup. This seems a very common fault with Steelseries headsets. Using this fix means you will have to desolder the speakers from the little PCB board that is inside the cup. Unfortunately unless you are a careful you may lose your RGB lighting in the earcup. You would need to cut out and stick on some light-diffusing plastic to get a nice colour effect anyway. This wasn't a concern for me as it was too far broken already hah. Steps: 1) Open up your broken earcup. 2) Unscrew PCB border. 3) Make note of which wire (green or copper iirc goes to +ve and -ve) 4) Desolder the wires in a manner which leaves the PCB still connected to the wires which run through the headset stem into the rest of the headset 5) Remove the circlip, if not done already, from the headband stem. 6) There is a rectangular hole on the printed part through which you should careful pass the PCB board(s) through so that they are inside the printed part. 7) Insert stem into your 3d printed fix and reattach circlip 8) now you can resolder the speaker to the PCB board 9) The speaker screw into the printed part using the same mounts as the original piece. I drew a picture that may help make sense of these instructions. Or may not. I hope these instructions suffice, I'm doing this off of memory as I have since totally snapped my headphones at the beach and binned them.... my fault... dont take headphones to the beach... Please feel free to remix! I'm sure someone better than me at CAD could simplify the installation steps of this. It's been so long that looking at my design history for them scares me lol. I hope these help somebody - we should always be able to fix our things.
