Right Side Z-Stabilizer with Cable Guide for Dual-Z Ender 3

thingiverse

Remixed from my remix ‘Ender 3 Bearing Z-Stabilizer with Reinforced Dual-Bearing Filament Guide’ of sealskin’s original. This remix reorients the bearing Z-stabilizer elements of the original for use on the right side of the Ender 3 frame in a dual-Z setup. I really like the z-stabilizer with dual-bearing filament guide arm on the left of my Ender 3, so when I installed dual z-motors with a second lead screw I chose not to use the supplied bearing stabilizers in the dual-z kit, but instead to keep my existing stabilizer+arm on the left and remix a version of it into a right-side stabilizer to work in tandem, adding an optional cable guide solution (I run a top mounted filament dryer) and aesthetically matching the look of the stabiliser on the left. The result works super well with my TwoTrees dual-z setup on the Ender 3. You can see in the included images that the timing belt pulleys sit perfectly up into the stabilizers and, tightened into place with their little grub screws, run super smoothly against the underside of the bearings. There are two versions to choose from, one with a built-in strip of 2020 extrusion profile that allows J-Max’s cool little clip-in cable guide to be attached for those that run filament dryers, cameras, lights etc on top of their frames, the other version with just a simple flat end for those with no cable guide requirements in that area. See included images for an example of the working cable guide. The z-knob lead screw winders I’m using with the stabilizers in the pics have been retooled to have a slightly smaller outer diameter to fit my setup (dual z + top mounted filament dryer) and are included with the thing files.
