This will allow you to use a sheet of inexpensive glass as a build plate. Glass is very inexpensive and extremely flat. This should work on the MonoPrice i3 Mini, Wanhao i3 Mini, PowerSpec Duplicator i3 Mini, etc. In addition to the fasteners and hardware that came with your printer you'll also need four (4) 3mm hex nuts and four (4) 3mm hex screws. The screws should be AROUND 12mm to 16mm long depending on how large your new glass build plate is. Cut your glass a couple millimeters smaller than the original build plate. This will make removing and re-installing the glass much easier. The glass needs to be large enough to rest on the four leveling screws that come with the printer. I had my first piece of glass cut about 5mm smaller than the original build plate and this was too small and so it couldn't be leveled. I painted the underside of my glass so I know where to put down my bonding agent (Elmer's glue stick, hair spray, etc). I think it also looks spiffy. I'm using BexGold's awesome [thumbwheels](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1595794) for my level adjustment. ###Advantages### * Because you're using zero force to remove the glass, you don't need to re-level the aluminum bed nearly as often. * Glass is inexpensive so you can have multiple sheets. Pop one in the freezer to make prints easier to remove while printing another thing on another sheet of glass. * Easily wash the bonding agent off.
