Rigid HD Wet/Dry Vacuum Dust Collection

This is my version of a dust collection system I originally saw on YouTube and posted by "John Builds It"... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyBuRjO54NM&t=249s. As he points out in the notes however, Rigid has changed their design (foot cups specifically) so his method won't work as is. To get around this, I designed some adapters for my new Rigid HD1200 wet/dry vacuum but it should work on similar models. My setup is fairly similar to his so please watch the video for a full explanation. The uploaded pictures should make things fairly straight forward from there. If you want to follow what I did, the shopping list/needed parts are as follows... **Printed** * Foot Peg Adapter (x4) * Stilt Cap (x4) * Right Angle to 2" PVC Adapter (x1) **Purchased** * 2" to 1.5" PVC Coupler (x5) * 1.5" x 3' PVC Stilts (x4) * 2" x 8.75" PVC (x1) * 2" x 30.375" PVC (x1) * 2" 90-Degree Spigot x Hub Street PVC Elbow (x1) * 2" Hub 90-Degree PVC Elbow (x1) * Dustopper (x1) * Bucket (x1) I should point out, there are other cyclone/dust collection options out there. I'm not endorsing any particular method, I just wanted something that worked. **Final Thoughts** I designed most things to be fairly "snug" because I don't want pipes falling apart while in use. This does need to be taken apart though to empty the bucket or check inside the vacuum so no glue involved. If you do find anything is too loose and don't want to tweak and print again, a little painters tape tightens things up nicely. The foot adapters will have a little wiggle room when placed on the pegs. This doesn't seem to be a problem, I just didn't want them getting stuck on the vacuum. I'm also not a fan of drilling holes in my gear so didn't design a bolt/anchor spot. The Fusion 360 archives are attached if you want to deal with my mess and make any tweaks (it isn't that bad). I've also attached a DXF for the platform design/sizing. I used a CNC to cut it out but other hand/power tools will work just as well so use what you got!
