Rigid Heddle Reeds

The included print files are 200mm (~8 inches) sections of reed for a rigid heddle to be used on a rigid heddle loom. It is intended to be mounted in a suitable frame with a 1/8" wide slot routed 3/8" deep. It is designed so that multiple sections can be installed for wider width heddles. Included are 5dent, 7.5dent, and 10dent reeds ready to print. I've also included a parameterized OpenSCAD file. Any custom dent and section length can be created by changing a few variables. See the SCAD file for instructions. The heddle in the photo uses four 100mm sections of 7.5Dent reeds. That gives it a weaving width of about 16 inches. The sections are printed in natural color ABS with 50% infill. Update (6-19-16): Added the heddleclamp shown in the photo. See details in the comments section.
