If your stepper shaft is the longer variety (7/8" or 23mm), the standard Z Tower will not work. You need either this one for the US 3/4" conduit version or the one by Trudge for the IE 25mm version (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1292161). Actually, Allted created one of these (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:806241), but the thin sidewalls and columns didn't adhere well on my printer. It snapped when I installed it. So, I recreated the part from scratch with thicker walls and eliminated the oval cutouts to add rigidity. The picture shows the Allted design on the left (silver) and the remix on the right (red). I have tested this and it fits well. My Makerbot Replicator v5 seems to shrink holes, so I had to drill out the four motor mount holes and the bearing slot, but they are designed to exactly the same size as the original (3mm and 22mm, respectively). So, if you have had luck with the other MPCNC parts, it should work just fine for you. Let me know if you do have trouble and I will modify the design accordingly. As always, a big shout out to Allted for the incredible MPCNC!! Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.26 Infill: 60% Notes: If you have good adhesion, you won't need a raft, but my Makerbot cannot print a large flat model without deforming at the corners. The other settings are taken from Allted's recommendations. How I Designed This Designed in AutoCAD 2016 and exported as an STL file
