<p>A small part used together with a nut and bolt to get an adjustable spring tension on the stock Rigidbot extruder.</p> <h3> Details</h3> <p>Take apart the extruder and start by drilling a small (ca 1 mm) guide hole in the center of the cross holding the spring all the way through the lever.<br/> Widen the hole to 3 mm all the way through.<br/> Remove the remains of the cross with a sharp knife.<br/> Drill the hole HALF WAY through to 4mm from the bottom (same side as where the cross were)<br/> Mount a socket head screw, a nut, the printed part and the spring as shown in the pictures.<br/> Reassemble the extruder and adjust the tension by turning the screw with a hex key through the hole :-)</p> Category: 3D Printer Parts
