Rigidbot Upgrade Kit - Back plate

This is the open source printable version of the back plate for the Rigidbot electronics upgrade kit. It is split in two pieces so that it can be printed on the 10 x 10 bed of a Rigidbot regular for its own upgrade or on a Rigidbot2. The upgrade kit consists of the Left and Right Back Plate pieces, the Anchor pieces (print 2) that are inserted in the corner knuckle where the lower bar is removed, and the Foot Risers (print 4). In this printable version of the back plate the mounting frame for the main board is integrated into the back panel. Note: more details of the electronics upgrade kit this back plate is part of can be viewed here: https://plus.google.com/113930448883604105560/posts/NF4w4YeCzUF As part of the upgrade process I would suggest that the quick release spool holders be printed with the other parts. They are found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1687553 The parts are Cura scaled and oriented for printing. These parts require the use of calibrated filament in order to fit properly. I used the following pieces to do the calibrations on the filament used. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037301 Print Settings Printer: Rigidbot 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 20% Notes: Remove old tape and clean the bed with Windex before applying new tape. This will keep the parts from pulling up and warping. To get a strong part use at least a .8mm wall thickness for the sides and top and bottom. Be patient. This is a long print but it comes out very strong and rigid. Post-Printing Removing parts from bed It helps to heat the bed to 50C when prying the parts off the bed. Run a thin blade under all the edges. Use a larger flat blade for the middle sections. A thin putty knife is very handy for this. Edit: A 3/4" chisel with the bevel side down works really well and doesn't damage the tape. Pry up at one or two spots and the part pops right off. Heating the bed back up seems to be optional with this tool.
