An integer mount for the ring doorbell that can secure the doorbell with a lock. HOW IT WORKS After the doorbell is screwed to the mount, a locking plate is placed. This locking plate shields the mounting screws from the surrounding... you cannot access the screws anymore with a screwdriver. The locking plate is secured by a padlock or combination lock. REQUIRED HARDWARE: - (2 x) screws & plugs for attaching the mount to the wall. - (4 x) M4 thread inserts. - A soldering iron. - (4 x) M4 bolts (L < 10mm) with countersunk head. - (2 x) fixing screws that are provided with the doorbell. - The original screwdriver provided with the doorbell. - A padlock. IMPORTANT NOTES - This mount only fits the Ring doorbell 1 - 2nd generation. - When screwing the doorbell on the backplate, only use the original provided screws to prevent protruding the battery by accident. INSTRUCTIONS 1) Use a soldering iron to press the M4 thread inserts into the mount. 2) Attach the mount to your wall with 2 screws & plugs. 3) Bolt the backplate of the doorbell to the mount with the M4 bolts with countersunk head. 4) Attach the doorbell to the backplate and secure it with the 2 original fixing screws. Use the original screw driver. 5) Place the locking plate between the fixing screws and bottom of the mount. 6) Lock the locking plate with a padlock or combination lock.
