Well this is finally a lock box that works. It takes a couple prints to pull off but it works in the end. Skip the instructions and just use common sense if youre clever enough ;)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kq4WPenqdDM Instructions Print part one. Print part 2. Print part 3. Print part 4. Print top cover (or something like that). Take all of the parts off of the raft (needed) and smooth the everything from print one. Trim part 2's sides so that it fits in part 3 without too much friction. After this, insert the round piece with the smaller diameter top into print 2 so the top is flush with what was where the raft was (the top). once this is achieved, pull it out. Grab the "ring" from print 4 (not the rotation prevention disc). Drill holes that are slightly smaller than the diameter of the wire you are putting through it (See picture). Push the wires through and trim them, mark holes on the smaller diameter half of print 1's drill holes that are slightly larger than the wire diameter. Put that part back in the hole of print 2. make sure it rotates freely. Next, add the rotation prevention disc from print 4 on top of the disc inside of print 2 so the arms in print one can slide in and out of the holes in print 2 but not too far (see picture). After this make two marks on opposite sides of the holes in the rotation prevention disc. Once this is done remove everything again, and drill out the marks you made on the circular thingy from print 1 (same size as the wire). Drill the same sized holes in the ends of the rods in print 1. clean these rods up so they slide through the arches. The ends will probably need to be flattened a little bit to clear the tabs. Assemble everything back to print 2 and do a quick check to make sure the ring turns the circular thingy (underneath the rotation prevention disc) make sure the rods slide in and out of the holes in print 2. After this push the tabs into the big box (print 3) This will take some force. Glue them in and possibly trim up everything so it all fits and slides. Glue the rotation prevention disc in carefully as not to get any on the circular thing under it. Put the top on the box and see if the locking mechanism works and actually locks it. If it doesnt, the rods need to be flattened more. Put on the topper thing to keep everything from falling out and BAM youre done!
