If you do a lot of rings and want to store and measure their size, this tapered ring will only allow the ring to slide down as far as it's size.If you are confident that your printer is perfectly calibrated you can use the numbered tower, otherwise it's recommended to make the naked one and take it to the jewelry counter of your local department store and ask to borrow their sizing rings. Then slide each one on and put a mark and repeat until done.
