A rotating ceiling mount for Ring Stick up Cams. I wanted to mount my camera's to the ceiling, but didn't want to use the mount made by Ring, so I designed my own. Printed parts: Cam attachment Rotating Ceiling mount (print-in-place) Connector bar part A and B You may want to increase wall thickness due to the need to bear strength. Cam attachment and ceiling mount need supports for the polygons. Other parts: Ring stick up cam (Wired, Battery or Elite) Ring mounting screws (came with cam) Ring attachment screw (is used to mount camera to foot, came with cam) No glue necessary: should be press-fit Assembly: Unscrew the big screw that attaches the Ring cam to the foot. Take the screw and use it to screw the cam attachment to the backside of the cam (not to the bottom). The hexagonal shape should fit perfectly. Find a good angle for your camera: the connecting bar has one side with an 8-sided polygonal hole (camera side) and one with a 7-sided polygonal hole (ceiling side). The ceiling side (7-sided) is asymmetrical, giving 2 options to adjust angle. Due to the combination of 7-sided with 8-sided, you can experiment a bit with different angles between the cam and connector and the ceiling mount and connector to get an angle good for you. The holes in the mount are 3cm apart, and you can mount the cam with the screws and plugs that came with it. The parts should be sturdy enough to stay together by just pressing them together. No glue required, but perhaps minimal sanding.
